Planting Seeds
Giving what you have is heart-warming. But sharing wisdom to people so that they could grow on their own and be able to share the same wisdom to others is the true meaning of giving.
Remember the story from the bible about the boss who gave his servants gold coins? The first servant was so afraid to loose them that he buried them under the ground. The second placed it in a bank to earn interest effortlessly. The third built a business and worked hard for it to grow. If we rely on God's grace alone to provide for us, then we are like the first servant who did not nourish God's blessings. We don't use them to it's maximum capacity. These gifts, in whatever form, are seeds that could change the lives of many people.
This is why it is important to see the difference between giving a fruit from giving a seed. The fruit itself is delightful, beautiful and satisfying. But the fruits alone is like a dead-end railroad. It could not grow anymore than it is, unlike the seed which has unlimited potential.
There is a cycle of giving that starts with the seed in your heart. Plant, plow, and persevere for it so that it becomes a strong tree that would bear fruits with seeds continuously. Then harvest the fruits and collect the seeds and share them to other people. Share what you have learned from this, so that they could do the same and be blessings to others.
Same principle applies to being financially independent. If you could provide for yourself, good. If you could give most of your blessings to others, better. But wouldn't it be great if you could share your overflowing abundance and your wisdom to everyone around you? To let people grow so that they, too, could have the same abundance and be able to do the same and plant seeds to more hearts? And to hold hand in hand with this mission of helping?
It is the best way to become a blessing to others because you reach out beyond your own capacity. You give not only what you could earn. This is what it meant in the bible "ten fold". Everything is multiplied and with abundance in return.
And when you are greatly blessed, no matter how much you succeed from your own sweat and perseverance, all these are not yours to claim but His. It becomes a harder test when you surrender everything back to God. (So, from the very beginning, you should plant the right seed in your heart!) He has chosen you so that you could give to those who need it most.
So reflect on this and ask yourself: "Am I plantings seeds right now?"
Don't succumb to your fears. Do everything for His glory.
Start being a true blessing to others.

Thinking of you...
My body aches of longing for your tender touch and tight embrace.
This distance makes my mind wonder and doubt, yet you always make a way to remind me that it's all real.
You are such a blessing, and I can't give back enough of your kindness and thoughtfulness..

"Life's Greatest Surrender"
Honey, happy 1st monthsary! Thank you for composing and singing this song for me :)but most of all, thank you for loving me. I love you so much! You are my life's greatest surrender...
"Life’s Greatest Surrender"
(composed by Norman Tarala)
We’ve known one another for years
But never each other’s joys and fears
We’re living in two different worlds
When I prayed for a heart to love,
God gave me yours
Chorus:
‘Coz it’s you that God gave to me
With you is where I wanna be
I will hold your hand and heart forever
You’re my life’s greatest surrender
With you I found my purpose
Before our worlds collide mine was worse
But you have found me and rescued my life
And in your love I found a guiding light
Repeat Chorus:
Bridge:
I will take care of you forever
Because heaven put us together
I will be with you whenever the roads bend
I promise to love you until the end

Mornings (with Love)
I flutter in joy while the cool day awakens.
Sunlight brushed my hair as I slide in crisp linens.
Thankful we're so blessed, starting the day with prayer.
Wake the child in me, sharing each day of laughter.
When you lean towards me and whisper "I love you.."
My mind records moments of happiness so true.
You hold my hand with warmth and look right into me.
I see much in brown eyes, looks of sincerity.
I open my eyes, there, everything I prayed for.
Everyday I fall for the greatest gift of all.
Sunlight brushed my hair as I slide in crisp linens.
Thankful we're so blessed, starting the day with prayer.
Wake the child in me, sharing each day of laughter.
